BEFORE & AFTER
Piezo Nose Job (Rhinoplasty)
Why Piezo Nose Job (Rhinoplasty) is Popular
Modern preventive rhinoplasty focuses on tissue remodeling rather than the severe displacement of tissue that was the norm in older methods. Piezo nose job (Rhinoplasty) is used to reconstruct the bone without breaking it. This is a gentler method that allows the surgeon to be more precise in their work. However, there may be no bruising or swelling in some situations, while others may have minor bruising. On the other hand, these are complaints that are rarely seen in the Piezo method. While there are setbacks such as using less-than-fine instruments and breaking the nasal bone in normal nose surgeries, the piezo method guarantees you a safe operation.
Recovery after Piezo Nose Job (Rhinoplasty)
Getting a nose operation scares a lot of people, since they believe the recovery time would be unpleasant and long. However, there is little or no discomfort after Piezo nose job (Rhinoplasty). Our center meets the international standards when it comes to health and safety. As a result, all side effects are also greatly reduced thanks to our careful approach. There is usually little or no bruising afterwards.
What Is Nose Job (Rhinoplasty)?
Nose size, nasal width, nasal tip reshaping, nostrils reshaping and asymmetry are some of the disturbances that can be fixed during nose job surgery in harmony with the facial characteristics.
If you want a more symmetrical nose, remember that everyone’s face is somewhat asymmetrical. While the goal is to create complete face balance and correct proportion, the results may not be completely symmetrical.
What is piezo surgery?
What is the advantage of piezo nose job when compared to other methods?
In piezo surgery, we almost do not encounter bruises around the eyes that patients are pre-operatively worried about. In addition to this, because we can cut (not break) the nose bones in a controlled manner with Piezo, unwanted fracture lines are not formed so we can shape the bones as we want.
What causes no bruising in piezo surgery:
– There is almost no bruise and swelling.
– To be able to make cuts from desired lines and to shape bones easily.
How about recovery?
While the initial swelling subsides within a few weeks, it may take up to a year for your new nose contour to fully seat. During this time, you may see gradual changes in the appearance of your nose. During the first year following your rhinoplasty surgery, swelling in the morning may deteriorate.
In the first visit, which will be at our clinic, splints on the nose and inside of the nose will be removed and supportive bandages will be applied on your nose.
During the postoperative period, we will ask you not to lay on your sides and wear glasses for 3 months.
